New Update to Sharing Preferences!
|
By popular request, our development team has rolled out a new sharing option for users. Go to your My Account page (gear icon), scroll down, and under User Preferences you can select "Allow Viewers to Download, Duplicate, and Share uploads by default." If selected, every new piece of media you upload will have this sharing preference.

Update to the Live Broadcasting Player
|
If you use the MyVRSpot Live Broadcasting service, you may have noticed a change in the autoplay of streams recently. Due to new browser restrictions that block the autoplay of video, the MyVRSpot development team has turned off the autoplay of live streams. Users will need to press the play button to begin viewing the stream with audio. While you can still edit your channel and turn autoplay back on, you’ll notice a caveat that your stream will be muted. Providing this work around is one way we are continuing to serve the needs of our customers, while adhering to new restrictions released by the most popular browsers. October is such a fun month for teaching! Along with the changing of the seasons, we've got Indigenous Peoples' Day, Diwali, and Halloween. Embrace the season by creating a Fall Newsletter in MediaSpot or give your students a holiday-themed VRS assignment or SmartSpot quiz! Did You Know About Notes?
|
Did you know that with the Notes feature, students are able to take notes on screen while watching your instructional videos? When the Notes feature is accessed, users will see a new side-by-side display, where the video can be viewed on the left side of the screen, while the right side is available for viewer notes. These notes will be displayed for that user when returning to the video for additional viewing, or they can be printed out. Contact Support to have this feature enabled for your district!
